02.

Okay, I'm good.

I would just like to point out how disgusted I am that 02 have let me down once again.

First of all, I have to explain my massive charade that I've had with 02:

Basically, I purchased a phone contract from them in London and everything was fine until I got home and my contract wasn't going through. So I rang up o2 and they told me to go into the nearest shop and they would sort it out. I got there and they told me that as the contract hadn't closed properly they were taking my phone away and giving me a purple phone that looked like a kidney bean. My mum walked in and practically screamed at the woman who worked in o2, not in a chav mum kinda way but in a sophisticated mum kinda way.
So anyway in the end they gave me back my phone but charged my mum £100 for my first phone bill.

The reason they have annoyed me today is because I accidentally opened their stupid link at the top of 'hotmail' which I opened on safari (on my iPhone). A video has tried to load up but failed which has left me with a black screen on safari and I cant do anything about it.

I HATE O2.

Jennifer Aniston got a tattoo!

I causally opened my Internet browser and saw this beast of a story:
http://uk.lifestyle.yahoo.com/beauty/jennifer-aniston-reveals-new-tattoo-honoring-her-late-pooch-blog-117-yahoo-lifestyles.html

Now, I just want you all to remember how freaking important it is that Jennifer Aniston has a new tattoo.

The tattoo is basically in memory of her dog who died in may aged 15 years old.  His name was Norman.

Now obviously the British public have nothing better to be thinking about than a celebrity getting a tattoo! Seriously, there are thousands of children dying in 3rd world countries, troops putting their lives on the line so we can have freedom and people trying to piece their lives back together after devastating natural disasters and all yahoo can be bothered to report on is Jennifer Aniston getting a tattoo about a flipping dog.

P.s R.I.P Norman!

Boredom.

I say I'm bored so I either:
  • Eat
  • Drink
  • Watch NCIS
  • Dance weirdly round my lounge
  • Hang upside down from the edge of my bed
  • Convince myself that I'm going to find something really interesting to do
  • Text lots of people
  • If none of those cure my boredom I often end up taking photos. No, not of myself but of things around me. Photos that I've taken a million times before.
     Like this one:

So one day, I was thinking 'Now Nathalie, what could cure your boredom?'. So I looked up Horley Tennis Club and emailed the guy who works there. He told me that I could come down and take some photos for my portfolio for collage. So now I have a kind of job taking photos for the tennis club. This means that I have met a lot of great new people and have some really good action shots for collage.

Another day, I decided spontaneously that I would go to the library and read a book. I have always wanted to read Dear John so I decided that was what I was going to read. So I packed up my laptop and my glasses and headed down to my local library, found Dear John which is written by Nicholas Sparks and sat in quiet corner of the library. Dear John is defiantly one of the best books I've ever read and I seriously recommend that you read it too!

See what you can do when you're bored?!

Love.

Love is so over rated.

Back in 1900 - 2000, love was respected. 'I love you' wasn't thrown around like a bag  from Woolworth. Now'a'days love is said every time people get together.
'Will you go out with me?'
'Yes, I love you'

My great-grandmother was telling me that she met my great-grandfather when she was 16 and he would not  kiss her until they had 'courted' for at least 2 months. She said that he used to kiss her hand instead of kissing her because he respected her. They used to go to the cinema and drive to spots and just talk for hours. My great-grandfather asked her fathers permission before he proposed to her. She stood between him right till the moment he passed away.
That is true love.

What happened to that side of love? Huh?

Now, girls are treated to a McDonald's drive through and a quickie in the back seat of a stolen car. I understand that what I'm saying isnt the same for all relationships but guys and girls in this day and age think that it is respectable to be chauvinistic pigs and sleep with whatever moves. If men/women were respectable of not only themselves but of other people, Jeremy Kyle would be out of a job.

I'm not saying I want to have the perfect 'The Notebook' romance. I just want someone to take care of  me when I'm feeling down, I want someone to text me and ask me if I'm okay. I want to be there for someone and know that what ever happens we'll be there for each other.

Boys and girls need to take a good look in the mirror and ask themselves if they think that they are doing he right thing by their girlfriend/boyfriend and if it's a no, then change. It's not hard to text somebody or walk to their house to comfort them.

Twitter.

Well Twitter,

I first joined twitter in November of 2010 and I have been addicted ever since. The reason that I first joined Twitter was because of Aiden Grimshaw; I appreciate how sad that is but it's true. He was like my obsession for ages and I thought that I was more likely to get recognized by him if I had Twitter. But as time progressed I met some amazing people on Twitter and realised that people do actually care about you and there are some genuinely nice people in this world.
Now apart from the fact that I adore twitter, it's such a good social networking site. You don't have to share pictures, locations or anything with people. In addition, you don't have those annoying little people who post EVERYTHING on your time line. Twitter does not invent random viruses that fill up your wall.

On twitter you meet amazing and inspirational people like Steve Williams and Joy Dodson who are in a long distance relationship and they have been since 2009. Steve lives in England and Joy lives in France. He tweets things that are funny, intelligent and makes people believe that love still does exist. Through Twitter I have realised that love comes to you, you don't go finding love. They're always so happy and it makes me reassured that one day I will find what they have.

I have met amazing people through Twitter and it's made me open up to so many different ideas. If you are reading this and don't have Twitter, get it!

Made In Chelsea.

Quick summary of Made In Chelsea:

Made In Chelsea is a British reality soap, set in the wealthy Chelsea district of London. The show will follow the lives of: Ollie Locke, Spencer Matthews, Fredrik Ferrier, Francis Boulle, Hugo Taylor, Milly Mackintosh, Amber Atherton, Alexandra Felstead, Francesca Hull, Rosie Fortescue, Caggie Dunlop and Gabriella Ellis.

So basically it's an upper class version of The Only Way Is Essex.
Even though it's really rather obvious that this, nor TOWIE are reality television shows because there is too much happening for it to be real life. They send out better values than TOWIE and they all have jobs. Even though money doesn't get you everywhere, the cast work. I much prefer the toned down, lavish vibe of MIC whereas TOWIE seems rather cheap.

10 biggest annoyances.

Okay, someone on Twitter told me that I should do a  '10 biggest annoyances' blog, so here it is:

  1. The single thing that annoys me more than anything else in the world is homophobia. Read my first blog to find out why.
  2. Chavs - Okay, chavs. Some of the rudest, ill-mannered and dumbest people that I have ever met in my life. I have been in contact with many chavs and none of them I have met are nice. They play their ridiculous 'music' too loud in the street. They make noise in the cinema whilst I'm trying to watch a movie that I've paid good money to see. They stand in doorways whilst you're trying to get through and don't move when asked. They intimidate people and make the elderly scared of the younger generation. Anyway, that's some of the reason that chavs annoy me.
  3. The Only Way Is Essex - is an English BAFTA award-winning reality show based in Essex, England. It shows "real people in modified situations, saying unscripted lines but in a structured way. Well that's what Wikipedia says. I am however going to describe it in a very different way. The Only Way Is Essex sends out completely the wrong message to younger children. Hardly any of the cast have jobs and they think it's cool to not have one. TOWIE cast use stupid words like 'reem' that have graced the internet and are now being used by people in every other sentence that they say. So yeah basically, I really don't like it.
  4. Justin Bieber - see earlier blog.
  5. Those loud mums that shout at their kids - We've all seen those mothers that have about 3394839485 children and they shout across Tesco saying, "MACKENZIE GET BACK HERE, PUT THAT DOWN, SHUT UP." and you actually die of embarrassment.
  6. N-Dubz - N-Dubz are a British hip hop group from London, based around Camden Town. N-Dubz is made up of Dino "Dappy" Contostavlos, Tula "Tulisa" Contostavlos and Richard "Fazer" Rawson. Basically the reason why N-Dubz annoy me is because they're just so pointless. They sing about nothing in particular. Dappy dresses like an idiot and Tulisa dresses, well in not a lot.
  7. Geography - I used to love Geography but then I got a different teacher who took all the fun out of geography. Therefore now every time someone mentions it, it makes me want to vomit.
  8. When companies write 'new and improved' on a product. Babes, it cant be new as well as improved. IMPOSSIBLE.
  9. Stunning people who are like 'Oh my gosh, I'm so ugly.' No you aren't, you know you aren't. 10459958 like every single one of your Facebook profile pictures and you have a stunning boyfriend. You know that you're beautiful and it makes really self concious people feel worse about themselves.
  10. When I completely pour my heart out to someone and they say 'lol :)'. What? I just told you basically how I feel about everything and all you can say is lol?
Okay basically that's it. Sorry if it sounded moany but yahhh.

Justin Bieber.

Okay for those who don't know who Justin Bieber is:
is a Canadian pop/r&b singer-songwriter and actor. Bieber was discovered in 2008 by Scooter Braun who happened to come across Bieber's videos on YouTube and later became his manager.

Basically for those who know me, they know I cant stand Justin Bieber and I would like to explain why.
  1. Justin Bieber was discovered when he was extremely young. He got an amazing opportunity to be able to become a singer and he took that opportunity. I personally don't agree with young children that go into show business because I believe that every child should have a proper education and then when they leave school what they do is up to them. Michael Jackson was an example of why I disagree with children in show business. Michael Jackson was incredibly talented but he never had a childhood and this seriously effected him. Whereas Justin Bieber is now travelling around the world with his band doing shows for millions of different people. I understand that he has been taught whilst on the road but it's not the same, he has not had the chance to be in a school environment for very long. If he didn't have his voice then he would not be a singer, obviously. So, if one day he loses his voice completely, what would he do?
  2. Even though Bieber believes in God and is always tweeting about how thankful he is to be in his position, it seems that he is rather full of himself. It's one thing to have confidence in what you do but being big headed isn't the best thing to be.
  3. He is everywhere! For those who don't like Justin Bieber, life is kind of annoying because if he isn't on every single music channel then his fans are trying to convert everyone to liking Justin. He released 'My World' then 'My World 2.0', then we had to sit through adverts for his movie whilst watching movies or television. I think I would like Justin more if he released a single/album and then went away for a while.
  4. The hair - Okay, Justin didn't event the longer hairstyle. Many boys before Justin became famous had long swishy hair. a lock of Justin Bieber's hair has been sold for $40,668 (£25,024) which is the most ridiculous thing that I have ever heard. I thought we were supposed to be in a recession?
  5. His fans - They are some of the most annoying people that I have ever had the displeasure of coming into contact with. Don't get me wrong, some of them are absolutely lovely and normal but some are borderline obsessed. On April 26, 2010, a scheduled promotional performance was cancelled by Australian police after several girls were injured in a crowd crush because they wanted to meet Justin so bad. As you know, Justin is dating teen pop star and television star Selena Gomez, the reason that they wont admit to dating is because of the death threats which are made by his fans.

R.I.P Ryan Dunn.

R.I.P to a star from the MTV show Jackass. He died in a car crash in Pennsylvania. Ryan Dunn posted pictures of himself enjoying a night out with friends on Twitter just hours before the crash.
Just want to say, let this be a lesson. Drive carefully.
R.I.P to a legend who will be missed.

It gets better.

I have just been watching the 'It gets better' advert when Google Chrome made:
http://www.youtube.com/user/googlechromeuk?v=CnFO8Hxp7CA&feature=pyv&ad=8147091432&kw=it%20gets%20better
In September 2010, syndicated columnist and author Dan Savage created a YouTube video with his partner Terry to inspire hope for young people facing harassment. In response to a number of students taking their own lives after being bullied in school, they wanted to create a personal way for supporters everywhere to tell LGBT youth that, yes, it does indeed get better.
I just wanted to write about this as I know many gay people and I feel extremely passionate about this subject.
On Twitter and many other social networking sites there are groups which are made in order to make gay people feel unwanted. This happened back in the time that Hitler was at large. He killed many people which included gay people as he thought they were not normal. That attitude was considered normal back then but times have changed and people have become more accepting of gay people, after all they're normal.
I wish I could grab hold of homophobic people and make them watch what they're doing to people. A large majority of teenagers, have thought about or are killing themselves because they are so ashamed of who they are. Gay teenagers are 4 times more likely to commit suicide than their straight peers.
The internet is more than partly to blame for this, if you type into YouTube: 'I hate gay people' there are 5,320 videos of pure hatred to people who are born a certain way. 'Gay people are stupid' there are 4,990 videos. 'Gay people should die' there are 1,110 videos. Is this right? Why should they get away with it?
Homophobia is as bad as racism, as bad as sexism and as bad as killing someone. You may think that me saying 'homophobia is as bad as killing someone' is a little over the top. Re-read that and think about how much it hurts when you say 'Go die, you little gay.' to someone who is gay, inside you could be killing them bit by bit.
These Facebook and Twitter pages should not be allowed to be set up. We should all be putting more time and effort into making people feel welcome in the world not making them feel like they belong no where. I just want people to be able to come out and be proud of who they are because there are truly some beautiful people that cant be themselves.
Although there is so much hate among people there are also people who are proud of who there are. My friend loves who he is, he's not scared to admit it and I'm so proud of him.
